Senior Vice President & Chief Growth Officer

As CEO of IDS International, Mr. Bauer oversees all strategic and day-to-day aspects of the business. His ability to leverage strategic relationships and rapidly win, close, and execute technology driven solutions is well known throughout the industry. He has more than 35 years of executive leadership experience supporting the intelligence community, Department of Defense, and other federal government clients.

Prior to joining IDS, Mr. Bauer was Chief Operating Officer & Chief Growth Officer at Valiant. As a member of its executive management team, he oversaw over 4,000 associates and the successful operation of multiple contracts totaling over $500 million in annual revenue. During his career with Valiant, Mr. Bauer was responsible for some of our industry’s most complex and vital operations. Many of these services were delivered to the Intelligence Community and Special Operations Forces both domestically and internationally. Prior to his tenure at Valiant, Mr. Bauer served as Group Vice President for Civilian & Intelligence Agencies at Unisys, and as Executive Vice President and Group General Manager of AECOM’s $1.2B Federal Services Division. His senior leadership expertise was also utilized by Dell, American Systems, Triple-I Corporation, and the United States Army.

Mr. Bauer holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy. His expertise and commitment to delivering innovative solutions and services were also evidenced by his induction into the Wash 100—Executive Mosaic’s annual selection of the most influential leaders in government contracting.
