Michelle Setnor

Program Manager, Overseas Building Operations (OBO)

Michelle Setnor is currently a Program Manager for OBO with IDS International. She is a program management security professional with 15 years of personnel management and support experience with government contracting, private contracting, and commercial staffing. Her expertise has been serving with Department of State since 2017 working in the Overseas Building Operations program. Michelle was hired with Triple Canopy and ACADEMI as a niche recruiter with DoS to specifically recruit for the ATA and OBO program. As an OCONUS team member of Constellis, she was requested to work and participate with various DOD programs such as SSS-A in Afghanistan, KBOSS in Kuwait, DAGGER in Germany, and KBR in the Middle East. As her success fulfilling positions across the world, her talent was recognized with OBO and she was requested to work with Quantico and Henderson Hall to assist the enlisted Marines with an opportunity with DoS. Michelle rose to an Operations Analyst focusing on program management and working directly with the client. Within months her opportunity to a Deputy Program Manager was taken and she moved forward with DECO, now IDS International. Michelle also took on the opportunity to blend a dual role as an AFSO facilitating TS clearance adjudications and investigations, becoming completely versed with the requirements for DoS regulations.

 

Michelle Setnor achieved certification with the Foreign affairs security training for Moscow and worked closely with OBO SPC program upon the mission required for this location. Within a couple years Michelle successfully streamlined and created the SOP to successfully transition the project to the Overseas Protective Operations program. In 2023, Michelle Setnor became a Program Manager and has successfully been a part of the development of groundbreaking embassies such as Jerusalem, Erbil, Mexico City, Beirut, Rio De Janiero, Lagos, Juba, and more. She has also been involved with the New Embassy Compounds or Consulates, upgrades, and renovations. No matter the scope of the project, Michelle Setnor strives to for success with the OBO program. Michelle Setnor is currently working with an average of 200 SSP in over 15 overseas locations.

 

Michelle Setnor graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
